Why it’s Good
Fortified with echinacea and other bioflavinoids
Our formulation includes a highly absorbable form of vitamin C combined with bioflavonoids, which enhance the absorption of the nutrients and increase the synergistic effect. The bioflavonoids from elderberry, echinacea and olive leaf are important antioxidants and are anti-viral and anti-bacterial in their own right.

Our Honest Opinion
Low levels of vitamin C can lead to a poor immune system and feelings of tiredness and fatigue. It is one of the most researched nutrients with more than 6,000 studies being conducted on it.
We can’t make vitamin C ourselves and therefore need to get it from our diets. Foods such as oranges, broccoli and tomatoes contain vitamin C. They are best eaten raw to get even more of the nutrient. Many people do not eat enough of these foods and may therefore be deficient. lt is important to also consume bioflavonoids such as elderberry, echinacea and olive leaf to help with the absorption of Vitamin C.
Enhances your body’s natural defences
Both vitamin C and vitamin D3 have been cited as two immune supporting vitamins. Studies have undergone review by EFSA’s (European Food Safety Authority) scientific panel and shown that they offer immune support, and help with overall health and vitality.
Food sources of Vitamin C
Unlike other animals, humans do not make vitamin C in their bodies. We therefore have to eat it in our diets. Good sources are vegetables and fruits, such as peppers, berries, citrus fruits and green vegetables. Most people don’t eat enough fruit and vegetables, and definitely don’t pick a rainbow selection of colours to get a good range of nutrients and miss out on sufficient quantities of vitamin C in the diet as well as the other immune supportive plant nutrients, known as bioflavonoids.
Supportive in reducing flu and cold symptoms
A study with data from 29 previous trials and over 11,300 people has shown that Vitamin C can help reduce the duration and severity of colds. A great nutrient to take if you want to get over those cold symptoms as quickly as possible!
Helps with the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
Studies have undergone review by the European Food Safety Authority’s (EFSA’s) scientific panel and shown that low levels of vitamin C can cause feelings of tiredness and fatigue.
Helps support your immune system
Research continues to show that vitamin C plays a key role in boosting your immunity. It has been shown to enhance our body’s own defence mechanisms, as well as hindering the growth of invading bugs. Studies have shown that vitamin C not only reduces the severity and duration of the common cold, but can reduce the incidence of developing a cold as well.
Keeps skin looking healthy and youthful
Vitamin C is found in high levels in the skin. Its antioxidant properties and its role in collagen production help keep your skin healthy. Along with vitamin D, it reduces the amount of inflammation in the skin, protecting against inflammatory conditions such as eczema, as well as limiting skin damage from free radicals.
Protects cells from damage caused by free radicals
Free radicals are harmful molecules that can damage parts of our cells, causing health issues. Antioxidants are substances that convert free radicals into a harmless molecule. They therefore help protect us from damage. Vitamin C is one of our most important antioxidants.
